The Villarreal family will cover the costs of the Hospitality Suite and the three main events: the Friday welcome reception, the Saturday dinner, and the Sunday BBQ. There is no per-person charge to attend any of them.

Rita Rico, Aunt Tootsie's granddaughter, is putting together a family history book for the reunion, with a chapter for each of the twelve Vega siblings. Pick your patriarch or matriarch below and answer what you can, even if you can't answer them all.

Frequently asked questions
When and where is the reunion?
Memorial Day weekend, May 27 to 31, 2027, in San Antonio, Texas. Most of it happens at the Sitio El Tropicano, 110 Lexington Ave. The Sunday BBQ is at Peachy and Maria's house, 118 Park Hill Dr. Times are on the Weekend tab.
Does it cost anything?
There is no per-person charge to attend the welcome reception, the Saturday dinner and program, or the Sunday BBQ. The Villarreal family is covering those and the Hospitality Suite. Travel, your room and parking are on you.
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes, it is required for everyone attending, kids included. Pre-register your whole group on the Register tab so we can make name tags and plan kids meals. Do it first: t-shirts open up after you pre-register. When you arrive, you finish registering in person at the Villarreal-Vega Hospitality Suite.
Where do I go when I get to San Antonio?
After you check in, come to the Villarreal-Vega Hospitality Suite (the Cielo-Presidential Suite) to pick up your name tags, t-shirts and other goodies. It is open 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Thursday to Monday, with snacks and refreshments all weekend.
Why do you ask for kids' ages?
We are planning kids meals for children under 15, and the ages help us order the right amount.
How do I get a reunion t-shirt?
Shirts are free for attendees, one per person. Reserve them on the T-Shirts tab, then pick them up at the Hospitality Suite. The design is a surprise until then. Questions go to Laurie Villarreal.
How do I get to the Sunday BBQ?
A shuttle service will be provided to the Sunday picnic from the hotel. If you would prefer to drive or ride-share, it is a six-minute drive. The address is 118 Park Hill Dr, San Antonio, TX 78212.
How do I share photos?
Add them on the Photos tab, from your phone or computer. They show up in the album and the slideshow right away. During the weekend, scan the QR code posters at the venue to go straight to the upload.
How can I help with the family book?
Rita Rico is putting together a family history book with a chapter for each of the twelve Vega siblings. Answer the questions about your patriarch or matriarch on the Family history book page by the end of December 2026, and send photos by the end of January 2027.

Nancy Gillespie handles RSVPs and general questions. Erica Sobba is running Saturday's program, Laurie Villarreal the t-shirts, and Rita Rico the family book. Their emails are at the bottom of every page.
